While out for coffee last week I found this wonderful garden shop in the Goose Hollow neighborhood. Even before entering I knew I would be in trouble because the plants they had decorating the storefront were so unique - and just my style.

This new family owned and operated small business is a great place for all of those gifting occasions when you just don't know what to get. In addition to their exquisite taste in houseplants they also have local artisan gifts. One gift they have on hand is a giftball of surprise trinkets decorated in the festive spirit of celebration. It was a big hit at a surprise birthday party luncheon on Friday. Better presentation than a grab bag with all of the whimsy of surprise for the sake of surprise. As my friend Kira unravelled the ball she found trinkets all through the bright packaging until she came to the middle. Not one to spoil a good ending - I'll let you find out for yourself at your next celebration.
