Event: Food + Shelter Festival

art is sustenance

This weekend is the Food and Shelter Festival in Portland Oregon. It starts this morning with workshops for improvisational dancers and musicians. Quite the unique happening! If you happen to be a dancer or musician this is an amazing opportunity to get deeper insight into the blending of the two together. If you are not a dancer or musician, I recommend the evening performances held at Center Space tonight and Saturday night at 8pm.

I have the privilege of documenting this extraordinary event Friday through Sunday. If you join in be sure to say hello.

Wedding: KUPL Personality Jake and his bride Shannon

What a sweet couple! Shannon and Jake have been such fun to photograph. They were totally game for anything that came up. The ceremony, officiated by Lisa Kristen Scott, was so down to earth and really kept the focus on the most important reason for the celebration.
