Let's put our hands together for sustainability!

Becoming the hot topic, once again, are sustainable eco-friendly weddings. How can you find the resources to plan your wedding to be environmentally friendly? One piece of the puzzle is finding a venue that has your same concerns in mind.

In Portland Oregon one of these places is the building formerly known as The Eco Trust Building:

The Billy Frank Jr. Conference Center

They have a beautiful space in a very convenient downtown location. When I photographed an autumn wedding there we had the perfect weather outside on the rooftop looking out over The Pearl District. The building is animal friendly and the coordinators are very accomodating. The caterers they choose to work with at this venue are local and organic... not to mention completely delectable.
